Secondary (rechargeable) batteries act as a energy-buffer.
Most common battery types are the Lithium-Ion and Nickel-hydride.
Different forms and various sizes can be found from mobile phones
to electrically driven cars - reliability testing is required.
Special to these tests is that the batteries can release their energy
in various ways due to a failure in the technology or in the material.
Therefore an added safety for the test chamber is required.
